Saturday Talk – An Accidental Aid Worker

Date(s) - 15/10/2016
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Batemans Bay Community Centre

Sue Liu, a Sydney based author, will take people back to the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami  and how she then stumbled into becoming a voluntary aid worker in Sri Lanka. That experience began a twelve year obsession for her of helping people in need, including 9 years supporting children in Cambodia, refugees and homeless people in Sydney.

Her memoir of the tsunami, Accidental Aid Worker will be available for purchase on the day.

Members wishing to attend should register with Ross Thomas at or by phone on 0402 132 698.
