Sue Liu, a Sydney based author, will take people back to the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami and how she then stumbled into becoming a voluntary aid worker in Sri Lanka. That experience began a twelve year obsession for her of helping people in need, including 9 years supporting children in Cambodia, refugees and homeless people in Sydney.
Her memoir of the tsunami, Accidental Aid Worker will be available for purchase on the day.
