Saturday Talk – Gambling’s Impacts on Australian Society

Date(s) - 18/02/2017
10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Batemans Bay Community Centre

Gambling Impact Society (GIS) has funding from the NSW Government to raise community awareness
about gambling related problems as a public health issue, and to foster primary prevention, active help-seeking and support for affected people. Gambling related problems include mental and physical health problems and can have serious consequences not only for the gamblers themselves but for the people around them. This presentation will be led by a recovering gambler, or by someone impacted by someone else’s gambling, and a local counsellor.

Members wishing to attend may book with Ross Thomas at or by phone on 0402 132 698.
