Presenter: Terry Fuller
Terry Fuller studied sculpture at the Canberra Art School and also assisted with the conduct of sculpture classes there. Since moving to Tuross Head, where his gallery is located, he has been sculpting full time – producing sculptures on commission and for exhibition and sale. Terry’s medium of choice is bronze, because of its warmth, the fact that it can be used to take whatever form the sculptor may choose, and because of the way that light can enhance the patina of bronze sculptures. This talk will mainly be directed at producing a bronze sculpture, such as his statue of Michael Weyman in Moruya, but he will also touch on the techniques involved in sculpting in other media, like steel, stone, pewter and timber. Come and learn more about the sculptor’s art.
